Toward the later part of 2005 God began to place in our spirit a divine dissatisfaction for the state of the modern day church. We began to grieve heavily because of the oppressive spirit of religion that exists in the church today. As we began to pray and ask God what was wrong, what He revealed to us was that many have turned away from Him to serve other gods, as the children of Israel had in times past. But instead of Baal, Asherah, and other foreign gods, they have now turned to serve the gods of their rituals, traditions, and denominations. And they have hardened their hearts and refuse to repent because they would rather have their own will instead of the will of God. And like Elijah we began to feel as though we were the only ones left, but God said that I have thousands whose knees have not bowed down to Baal, and I will gather the remnant of my flock and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number. I will place shepherds over them who will tend them. And this is the vision that God has given us for the New Birth Kingdom Church, a church that has birthed out of the will of God free from denominational bounds, and traditions. A place where the remnant, those who desire a pure relationship with God may worship him in spirit and in truth, and may be fed the word of God without compromise. New Birth shall be subject to the will of God, governed according to His word, and lead by the move of His Holy Spirit to produce an atmosphere of worship that our God will be pleased to inhabit for the bible says He inhabits the praises of his people, and where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. By yielding to the will of God, and abiding in His word we shall secure His favor for every area of our ministry and shall become the church of power that God designed us to be.
